Luckily we are rewiring the house so now there is no danger of anyone getting an electric shock by the live wires in the wall.
If you can see in the picture, the small single electrical box is the one that had live electrical wires behind a blanking plate. Now they have been disconnected from the fuse box consumer unit and are now no longer live and dangerous.
The twin box I have installed above the old one will now be a double socket and has been rewired.
